TRLA 2271 - Audiovisual Translation (Advanced) Add to HCC Catalog TRLA 2271 - Audiovisual Translation (Advanced) In this course, students will learn how to create subtitles, voice-over, and dubbing according to industry standards. They will improve their typing speed and accuracy and learn to mimic natural oral communication. They will learn about various equipment and tools used in transcription and subtitling, including voice-to-speech software and machine translation, and learn how to post-edit. They will learn about the role of language professionals in post-production, including editing, reports, scripts, and adaptation of marketing and press materials. They will practice the skills required in voice-over and dubbing projects, including voice projection, pronunciation, enunciation, lip-sync, and various tools and equipment. They will practice creating and following time-stamped scripts, recording audio, and editing their recordings. Lecture: 1 Lab: 2
