STS 2324 — Surgical Procedures II
This course presents an overview into the surgical environ- ment. Instrumentation and sterilization key components of this course. Demonstrate the use of sterilization process moni- tors, including temperature and frequency of appropriate chemical indicators and bacterial spore tests for all sterilizers. Demonstrate the ability to identify and select appropriate in- strumentation and equipment that meets the needs of the spe- cialty.
