STS 1300 — Surgical Anatomy and Pathophysiology

This course has been designed to provide general knowledge about the healthy functions of the human body and the struc- tures related to these functions. It is divided into six units of study. Each unit will be taught separately, correlating each system’s contributions to the total function of the body, as a synergistic and unified whole. Instruction will also include an- atomical positions, planes of the body, systems of the body and their inter-relationships, body chemistry, and introduction to physics.
