This course is a review of physiology and fluid dynamics, and is designated to give the student an understanding of the anat- omy, physiology, and pathology of the arterial and the venous circulatory systems. This course will provide a thorough un- derstanding of the lower and upper extremity arterial anat- omy, physiology, and pathology. The clinical assessment of patients for peripheral vascular disease will be discussed. This course will discuss Doppler waveform analysis in the lower and upper extremities. Patient factors and patient histories will be described.
