HIM 2941 — Clinical Coding Practicum
Course is planned work-based experience that provides stu- dents with an opportunity to enhance their skills through a supervised practical experience related to their career objec- tives. Coding guidelines will be used and the student will ad- dress billing and reimbursement issues. Medical records will be used by the student to perform coding procedures.
Prerequisites: HIM 1000, HIM 1112C, HIM 1433, HIM 1442
