EEC 2732 — Health, Safety and Nutrition forYoung Children

This course will provide students with knowledge of appropri- ate health, safety, and nutritional practices implemented in de- velopmentally-appropriate educational programs for children ages birth through eight years. Health and safety regulations, legal issues, community resource and emergency procedures are addressed. Ten hours of observation in a licensed early childhood program is required.
