EEC 1601 — Observing and Recording Children’s Behavior

This course is designed to provide the student with an over- view of the importance of observation, screening and assess- ment in planning developmentally appropriate programs for young children. The course covers the use of a variety of obser- vational methods and developmentally appropriate assess- ment practices. Ten hours of observation in a licensed early childhood program is required.
