DAA 1201 — Ballet Basics for Non-Majors

Ballet Basics is a studio course designed to introduce students with no training to the basic concepts of ballet technique. The emphasis in this class will be placed upon attaining correct body alignment, learning the positions of the arms and feet, and the understanding of the sequence of the ballet class. Stu- dents will learn basic dance vocabulary while developing strength and musicality. This is a studio course and may be re- peated 2 times for credit.
