RNSG 1107 - Concepts of Mental Health Nursing RNSG 1107 - Concepts of Mental Health Nursing Emphasis is placed on health promotion, restoration, and maintenance of the client in inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities. Concepts of mental health nursing will be applied through the nursing process to the care of the adult client with acute and/or chronic mental health problems, incorporating essential nursing science, biophysical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural principles. Supervised clinical simulations and inpatient/outpatient hospital experiences will provide the student opportunities to meet course competency
Prerequisites: RNSG1101, RNSG1102
