CSSP 2010 - Endoscope Reprocessing Fundamentals CSSP 2010 - Endoscope Reprocessing Fundamentals Emphasis will be placed on types of endoscopes, instrumentation and accessories, microbiology, endoscope maintenance and leak testing, inspection and preparation of endoscopes, cleaning and disinfection processes for endoscopes, sterilization processes, types of mechanical disinfectors, infection control techniques, department design, transportation and storage of endoscopes, legal issues and regulatory agencies, professional development and healthcare trends. Students completing this course will be prepared to take the Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) exam or the Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) exam. Class-3, Lab - 2.

Prerequisites: ENGL1010, MATH1012
