CSSP1010 — Central Sterile Supply Processing Technician
CSSP 1010 - Central Sterile Supply Processing Technician CSSP 1010 - Central Sterile Supply Processing Technician Emphasis will be placed on the profession of Central Sterile Processing, basic sciences and related subjects, infection control, aseptic technique, equipment management, sterilization, instrumentation and supplies, legal issues, inventory management, safety, quality assurance, professional development and healthcare trends. Students completing this course will be prepared to take the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) exam or the Certified Sterile Processing Department Technician (CSPDT) exam. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $50 cost recovery course fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees are subject to change at the end of any semester. Class - 3, Lab - 4. (F, Sp)
