COSM 1090 - Hair Services Practicum I COSM 1090 - Hair Services Practicum I The allocation of time to the various phases of cosmetology is prescribed by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology. This course includes a portion of the hours required for licensure. Topics include: permanent waving and relaxers; hair color, foiling, lightening, hair and scalp treatments; haircutting; clipper design, precision cutting, styling; dispensary; reception; safety precautions/decontamination; Hazardous Duty Standards Act compliance; product knowledge, customer service skills, client retention, State Board Rules and Regulations guidelines, and State Board foundation prep. Class - 1, Lab - 6. (F, Sp)
Prerequisites: COSM1000, COSM1010, COSM1020, COSM1030, COSM1040, COSM1050, COSM1080
