DANC 200B — Touring Dance Ensemble II

This course focuses on developing the skills and materials needed to succeed in the professional dance world. Skills practiced and applied in the course include learning, rehearsing, choreographing, and performing choreography in a variety of performance venues both on campus and in the community. Though most performances will be scheduled during class time, additional performances may be held during the evening and/or on weekends. Students also learn the rudiments of starting and running a dance company. Materials developed in the course include documents and projects that serve students in the business aspects of the field, such as cover letter writing, grant writing, and more. (CSU)
