SPAN292 — Latin American Women: Struggles and Literature (Spanish)
Introduces the study of Latin American Women’s struggles through important literature produced by Latin American women, to explore the historical construction of masculinity and femininity in the region, the role of politics and ideologies in that construction, the intersection of gender, race, class, ethnicity and nationality and the social movements that have impacted the lives of women in the region. Crosslisted with LAS 200 Enrollment Requirement: Eligible for SPAN& 223 or instructor consent. Satisfies Requirement: Humanities/Fine Arts/English and Diversity Course
