Fourth quarter general physics sequence course for science and engineering students. Serves as a terminal course for non-physics majors and gives students a good conceptual background for the study of quantum mechanics. Emphasizes a thorough study of phenomena that cannot be explained with ideas from classical physics. Enrollment Requirement: Eligible for ENGL& 101 and a grade of 2.0 or higher in PHYS& 222 and MATH& 152 and at least concurrent enrollment in PHYS& 223 and MATH& 163 .
