MATH147 — Finite Mathematics-Business and Social Science

Study of graphs and solutions of linear equations, systems of equations, matrices, linear inequalities and linear programming, the simplex method, piecewise defined, quadratic, polynomial, rational exponential and logarithmic functions, and financial formulas. Many problems and examples are drawn from the fields of business, economics, and social science. Graphing calculator required. Enrollment Requirement: MATH 97 with a grade of 2.0 or higher; or appropriate math placement. Satisfies Requirement: Natural Science and Quantitative Skills Course Fee: $2.00 Course
