ENGR106 — Introduction to Engineering Problems
Introduces dimensional analysis and vector algebra and their use in solving engineering problems. Uses Newton’s laws in problems involving forces, moments, acceleration and velocities. Discusses problem format, significant figures, statistics and error analysis, and their role in the design process. Enrollment Requirement: ENGR 100 with a grade of 2.5 or higher or concurrent enrollment; MATH& 142 or higher with a grade of 2.5 or higher. Satisfies Requirement: Natural Science Course
