-5 Enables students to pursue areas of special interest in the Early Childhood Education field. Students participate in approved regularly scheduled workshops, seminars, or classes sponsored by the college or by a recognized institution or organization, e.g. Child Care Resources, Educational Service District, the Washington Association for the Education of Young Children or local affiliate, health department, or childcare agency.
