Introduces filing methods, related rules and applications for paper and electronic records management. Uses Microsoft Access extensively for lab applications. Students create appropriate electronic file structures for various record volumes. Covers filing equipment, supplies, microfilms, vital records plan, retention scheduling, and the records life cycle process. Enrollment Requirement: BTAC 100 with a grade of 2.0 or higher; or instructor consent. Recommended: BTAC 185 . Course Fee: $10.00 Course
