An introduction to the United States Standard for Terminal Instrument Procedures (TERPS) and examines methods and criteria for the formulation, review, approval and the publishing of procedures for IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) operations to and from civil and military airports. Material covered includes obstacle clearance, airspace, descent gradients, Performance Based Navigation (PBN) requirements, and related documentation. Enrollment Requirement: Admission into the BAS in Aeronautical Science degree. Course
