Provides a comprehensive foundation in instrument flight operations and prepares students to pass the FAA Instrument Pilot Written Examination. Topics include basic instrument flight procedures, IFR flight planning and decision-making, ground and satellite-based navigation systems, IFR aircraft systems, weather formation and services for IFR operations, and airport operations under IFR conditions. Students will also study ATC procedures, communications, and clearances, along with FAA regulations related to instrument flight. Enrollment Requirement: AVIA 111 or instructor consent.
