ART252 — Ceramics 2
Intermediate course in ceramics in which students demonstrate a complete understanding of the ceramic process through clay construction and firing. Students gain knowledge of various clay bodies, glaze properties and effects. Students demonstrate the ability to work responsibly and safely in the glaze room and mix, test, and assess fired glaze results. Students begin to develop the sensibilities to integrate concept and material in their approach to ceramics. Enrollment Requirement: ART 251 with a grade 1.0 or higher or instructor consent.
