Secondary education prepares students to teach at the high school level, helping students explore subjects more deeply than in elementary school. The Associate Degree is designed as a transfer pathway to a Baccalaureate program. Public school teaching requires state licensure, typically including a bachelor's degree in a specialized subject, a teaching internship, and a state exam. Students must work with a transfer coordinator to select appropriate coursework aligned with their target four-year institution.
