Certified Nursing Assistant

The Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program prepares students to provide basic personal care under the direction of nursing or medical personnel. This 120-hour, State of Michigan Approved Program offers training at Ironwood and Houghton locations with a variety of innovative schedules. Some businesses sponsor a select number of students each year. Upon completion, students may be placed on the State of Michigan's Nurse Aide Registry. Certification transfer to Wisconsin is also available.

Prerequisites: Applicants must meet minimum admission requirements, Criminal background check required before clinical assignments, Drug screen required before clinical assignments, Valid Social Security Number required, Computer and internet access required
