Emergency Medical Services
This program provides theory, laboratory, and clinical training preparing students to stabilize and safely transport patients needing emergency services. Students learn to use a wide variety of skills and equipment and provide safe, quality care in the current healthcare environment. The program offers Medical First Responder (MFR), EMT Basic, Advanced EMT, Paramedics, and CEU Opportunities. All sessions are held at Gogebic Community College in Ironwood. Completion does not guarantee eligibility for state examination; past criminal convictions may interfere with eligibility.
Prerequisites: Up to date on immunizations, Pass a criminal background check prior to entering clinical areas
