DWG 108 — Materials & Lean Manufact Processes
This course will provide introductory basic instruction in the areas of industrial materials, manufacturing processes, and lean manufacturing strategies. Students will be introduced to material properties along with casting, molding, forming, separating, conditioning and finishing process methods. Lean manufacturing concepts as implemented in today’s factories will also be introduced. Local field trips will provide experiences in a manufacturing environment.
