The Veterinary Assistant program at Glen Oaks is a fully online, self-paced course preparing students to support veterinarians in clinics, hospitals, shelters, and research settings. It covers animal anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, handling and restraint, office administration, laboratory procedures, pharmacology, and surgical assisting. Aligned with NAVTA, no prior animal care experience is required. An optional 100-hour hands-on externship is available. Open to students nationwide.
