Allied Health Associate of Applied Science
The Allied Health AAS from Glen Oaks is a flexible, stackable degree for students pursuing medical and clinical health support careers. Students complete foundational courses in anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, health records, ethics, and patient care, then choose one of two certificate tracks: Medical Coding & Billing Specialist (100% online) or Medical Assistant Certificate. Designed for traditional and adult learners in southern Michigan and northern Indiana, the program features small class sizes and local clinical experience. Credits may transfer toward bachelor's degrees in healthcare administration, health information management, or public health.
Prerequisites: Meet placement requirements in reading, math, and English, Complete one of the two listed Allied Health certificate programs, Maintain a 2.0 GPA overall, with no ALH course grade below 2.0
