This course covers the study of Pipe Welding in the Shielded Metal Arc Welding disciplines. This course will include technical information based on NCCER and ASME recommended competencies as well as teacher demonstration and hands on application by the student. This course is designed to be beneficial to intermediate and advanced students who wish to work toward 6G and 6GR certification in SMAW.
