PHYS 106 - Descriptive Physics PHYS 106 - Descriptive Physics 3 Hour(s) This course serves as a three-hour elective science course for non-science majors. It also enables students not pursuing a degree in science to learn the basic concepts of physics without the need for a high proficiency in mathematics. Areas of study include mechanics, temperature and heat, waves and sound, electricity and magnetism, light and atomic and nuclear physics. Three hours lecture per week. Course all semesters as needed.
