NURS 216 - Transition to Professional Practice NURS 216 - Transition to Professional Practice 2 Hour(s) This course is designed to facilitate the transition to the professional role of the registered nurse. Students will examine the process of licensure, preparation for the NCLEX exam, and the legal/regulatory guidelines laid out in the Kansas Nurse Practice Act. Professional practice issues such as failure to rescue, quality improvement, disaster preparedness, and advanced roles for the registered nurse will also be explored.

Prerequisites: NURS200, NURS202, NURS204, NURS205, NURS206
