HPER 288 - Sports Officiating HPER 288 - Sports Officiating 3 Hour(s) The purpose of this course is to study officiating requirements for selected sports and games, with an emphasis on mechanics, rules interpretation and enforcement. Upon successful completion of the course, students have the opportunity to pursue Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) certification, preparing them to serve as certified officials for community and school activities.
