HELR 171 - Clinical Medical Practicum HELR 171 - Clinical Medical Practicum 3 Hour(s) Concurrent enrollment in HELR 170 Clinical Medical Assisting and Minor Procedures , HELR 180 Medical Administrative Aspects and HELR 181 Medical Administrative Practicum . This course provides the student with an opportunity to apply clinical and laboratory skills in a laboratory classroom and in a direct supervised preceptorship in a medical facility. The course places emphasis on enhancing competence in clinical skills necessary for comprehensive patient care and strengthening professional communications and interactions. Upon completion, students should be able to function as an entry-level health care professional.
