ENGR 205 - Statics ENGR 205 - Statics 3 Hour(s) The course will expand on vector operations and solid mechanics to further reinforce attention to detail and critical thinking. Further, it will allow development of a systematic approach to effectively implement problem-solving strategies. Specifically, the course will explore systems with particles and rigid bodies in a state of static equilibrium involving the concepts of translational and rotational forces, composition and resultants, friction, stress and strain, structural analysis, loading modes, moments of inertia and centroids.
