Students will examine the role of public relations professionals, their professional development, ethics within the discipline, influences that affect organizational behavior and the impact public relations has on society. Students will learn how to prepare public relations materials for businesses and non-profit organizations and develop an understanding of crisis communication, placement and media strategies.
