AUTO 1043 - Manual Drive Trains and Axles AUTO 1043 - Manual Drive Trains and Axles 3 Hour(s) A study of the operation, diagnosis and repair of automotive manual power trains to include RWD transmissions and FWD transaxles, propeller shafts and CVs, clutches and RWD differential assemblies. Theory of operation, problem analysis, replacement and complete overhaul procedures will be covered. Use of proper test equipment, special tools and diagnostic procedures, along with appropriate repair methods will be addressed. Emphasis will be on the latest designs. The course works in conjunction with the Engine Repair Lab allowing students to apply their knowledge and develop their skills.
