THEA 100 — F Introduction to the Theatre 3 Units
54 hours lecture per term. This course is designed for those students who wish to explore more thoroughly the art of theatrical performance. Students will develop a keen understanding of play analysis, the role of audience and the various production components that create a theatrical event. Attendance at live theatrical performance(s) outside of regularly-scheduled class times is required. This course prepares the student for other course offerings in the theatre curriculum.
