54 hours lecture per term. This Honors-enhanced course is a sociological exploration of the topics related to the institutions of marriage and family. These topics include: gender roles, love, singlehood, courtship, marriage, domestic partnerships, communication, sexuality, parenting, conflict, domestic violence, economics, divorce, step-families, diversity in families (historically and cross-culturally) and future family trends.
