PSY 221 — F The Brain and Behavior 3 Units
54 hours lecture per term. This course examines the neurophysiological and biological processes associated with behavior and mental processes. Emphasis is placed on the structure and function of the brain and other central nervous system structures. Related processes such as the autonomic nervous system, the endocrine system and the immune system also are addressed. Some of the specific topics studied in the context of the brain include learning, sensation, perception, emotion, motivation, cognition, relationships memory, stress, psychological disorders and brain dysfunction.
