PHYS 130 — F Elementary Physics 4 Units
54 hours lecture and 54 hours lab per term. This course is a survey of some of the more important principles, philosophy, and phenomena of physics. Topics include mechanics, electricity and magnetism, wave phenomena, and modern physics. The course is intended for those with no previous experience in physics. It is not open to anyone who has taken a college level physics course. The laboratory includes experiments in measurement, mechanics, electricity, wave phenomena, and radioactivity.
