MATH 043 — F Intermediate Algebra for Statistics and Liberal Arts 4 Units
72 hours lecture per term. This course emphasizes applications, mathematical modeling of data and interpretation of results. The course includes linear, quadratic, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions and their graphs, solving equations involving these functions, solving linear inequalities, and solving systems of linear equations at an intermediate level.
