HORT 185 — F Arboriculture 2 Units

18 hours lecture and 54 hours lab per term. This course covers current practices in maintaining trees through correct pruning, cabling and cavity repair. In addition, tree growth characteristics, local codes and regulations and safety practices related to pruning are covered. This course prepares students for the Certified Arborists examination.
