DART 133 — F Marvelous Design I - Introduction to Cloth Simulation 3 Units
36 hours lecture and 54 hours lab per term. This course is an introduction to cloth simulation using Marvelous Designer, one of the leading software used to create digital clothing simulations in the fashion, video game, engineering, science and entertainment industries that mimic the real-world properties of fabrics. Students learn to design and model digital clothing simluations using traditional pattern-making techniques such as sewing and stitching to acquire the experience levels necessary to advance in their chosen field.
