54 hours lecture per term. This course examines the proper writing of police crime reports and their importance in the successful prosecution of cases. Emphasis is placed on developing the student's ability to accurately take notes, employ appropriate methods of obtaining information from victims, witnesses, and suspects, formulate investigative techniques, and recognize proper report language.
