ISM 3113 - Systems Analysis and Design ISM 3113 - Systems Analysis and Design 3 credits The course contrasts different approaches to analyzing information systems’ needs and the steps required to design and implement the system. User interface design, databases, reporting and interaction with internal, external and legacy systems are analyzed. Topics on cost/benefit analysis, outsourcing, security, training, case tools and life cycle of new or replacement systems are covered.
