This course covers factors that influence the use of information technology in logistics. Software systems reviewed include Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Internet of Things (IoT), ERP, databases, TMS and WMS. The course provides an in-depth look at forecasting, sales and operations planning, capacity planning, manufacturing planning and control, and order-timing decisions.
