This course further develops the concepts within the three domains of: human being, health care and nursing as a professional. Emphasis is placed on the introduction of the concepts of nursing, accountability, communication, collaboration, assessment, nutrition, and the skills needed to promote health and illness prevention in the healthy client. Upon completion of the course students will be able to apply the concepts to client care utilizing evidence-based practice, individual-centered care, and quality care goals. Clinical experiences will be provided with clients across the lifespan in wellness and community settings.
