MEA1207C — Clinical Procedures II
This course will provide skills and knowledge for the student to assist the practitioner with various aspects of the clinical practice. These skills will include assisting in physical examinations, procedures, treatments, and where appropriate, students will perform diagnostic testing. In addition, students will gain and apply principles of aseptic technique and infection control in the medical office. Equipment use, care and routine maintenance will be covered. Documentation of diagnostic procedures will be presented as well as appropriate pharmacology.
