INT1940 — Interpreting Car Dev Capstone
In this culminating course of the program, students will apply their comprehensive understanding of linguistic, cultural, and professional practices, integrating the use of technology and equipment into their skill set. Through simulated and authentic interpreting scenarios, critical reflections, and industry-like assessments, students will continue to assess their skills and hone their interpreting abilities. Students will create and present a professional development plan to guide their career development. Opportunities for supervised authentic interpreting experiences are available to students dependent upon requisite skills needed for authentic environments.
