FSE1000 — Intro to Funeral Services
This course provides an orientation to the profession of funeral services. Topics include the historical role of funeral service from pre-Christian to modern times, functional role of the funeral service practitioner, ethical practices, sociology of funeral service, current and future trends, and funeral service organizations. Emphasis will be on the development of funeral service practices in the United States.
